We hold regular DEI events to keep the dialogue going on important issues. Hosted by incredibly passionate and knowledgeable people from both inside and outside the company, our roundtable discussions give our people the chance to have deep conversations, exchange personal experiences in a safe environment, and share insights for our peers to take away and reflect on. These conversations help us bring DEI to life and make practical changes to ensure we’re a proactively inclusive employer and business partner.
Our DEI events have included:
International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia
The International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia was created to draw attention to the discrimination experienced by the LGBTQ+ community. Our panel talked openly about some of their personal experiences of homophobia, biphobia and transphobia, and discussed how allyship is not only crucial for psychological safety, but also in helping to change negative perceptions.
Promoting disability confidence at Investigo
Nick Goss, owner of Goss Consultancy Ltd and leading disability consultant, hosted a disability awareness workshop to increase our understanding of disability and offer practical ideas for further embedding disability confidence into our ways of working. Read more about the event here.
Race in the workplace: how to drive culture transformation
Our Associate Director for Client Success, Olivia Dodd, was joined by Darrell Coker, Founder and Head of Product for Flair, and Loraine Martins, Director of Diversity and Inclusion at Network Rail, to discuss the key questions on race in the workplace and offer practical advice for people from across our network. Read more about the event here.
Women’s forum: being your authentic self
It’s so important to be your authentic self in the workplace, but all too many of us still don’t feel comfortable being who we are. Melanie Robinson, Principal Consultant, hosted an Investigo Women’s Forum looking at ways of finding your confidence and values, and talking about the importance of workplace authenticity.
